BioShock is a retrofuturistic video game series published by 2K Games and developed by several studios, including Irrational Games and 2K Marin.The BioShock games combine first-person shooter and role-playing elements, giving the player freedom for how to approach combat and other situations, and are considered part of the immersive sim genre. The story is fantastic, it has one of the most iconic first 15 minutes ever (as well as its ending), and is one of the most atmospheric games you'll ever play. BioShock 2 got some acclaim when it first came out, but it was generally regarded as the lesser entry.To many, the game seemed like the easy cash-in sequel that was made without the involvement of the series director Ken Levine.
